There’s Lollapalooza, Ozzfest and the Warped Tour. But for some time, the music festival has been the annual Coachella Valley Music Festival. The lineups have generally been pretty awesome (at least to me) and it just looks like a lot of fun.
But I transplanted from the Best Coast to the Beast Coast (*ahem*) quite awhile ago, and that trip would costly and a hassle. But now CMJ reports that a new documentary will offer highlights from the past six years.
The film, titled Coachella, will open in Los Angeles on January 19th at the Orpheum Theatre and then in a handful of select cities on January 24. Its performances will include: The Arcade Fire, Björk, The Chemical Brothers, Iggy and the Stooges, DJ Nu-Mark & Cut Chemist, Pixies, Radiohead, Roni Size, Saul Williams, and The White Stripes.
