There are many memorable episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The one where Larry picks up a hooker so he can use the commuter lane to go see a baseball game at Dodger Stadium and then she gives him some marijuana for his father’s glaucoma? That’s a good one. Maybe my favorite, though, is “Krazee-Eyez Killa,” from Season 3, wherein Larry David advises a gangsta rapper on the finer points of personal expression.
LARRY: I like it. I got one, tiny, little comment.
KRAZEE: What? What, what?
LARRY: I would lose the “mothafucka” at the end. ‘Cause you already said “fuck” once. You don’t need two fucks. You already got the one fuck. I would change the “mothafucka” to “bitch”. Because the bitch…
KRAZEE: “…I’m coming for you bitch…”
LARRY: … Yes, because “bitch” is a word that you would use to somebody who you don’t really — who you disrespect. Right?
So, Krazee’s song “I’m Comin’ To Get Ya”? It’s been brought to life by lowbudget (via Catchdubs).
Curb Your Enthusiasm returns to HBO on September 25.
UPDATE: The Washington Post had an article on Sunday about the Baltimore Club sound (a.k.a. B-More), which mentions DJ Lowbudget’s “promotional B-More single based on sound clips from the HBO series ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.’”
