Welcome to the new and improved version of The Pop View. TPV operated as an active website from late 1999 to late 2000. I had my 15 seconds of fame when linked on Romenesko in May of 2000 (Here’s a snapshot of TPV’s moment in the spotlight and a link to the post that triggered it). Why did I quit? A deadly combination of malaise and procrastination. This was pre blogging software, which would have made my job infinitely easier. Basically, TPV is back in blogging form because I had no choice. There’s too many great blogs doing terrific things (Some of them are listed over there in the links) and I’m itching to get back in the game.
